It’s been a while, but rather late than never. Waikiki was a welcome surprise. We did it because we though we have to go since we are in Hawaii, not expecting much more than a tourist frenzy. It was great. There is a great vibe. Everyone is relaxed and laid back. the waves were perfect for us and the kids and they had loads of fun waking through the international centre to the beach about 5 times a day. We learned the bus system and got out and about to Pearl Harbour, neighbouring beaches and of cause to climb Diamond Head, which we took turns to do early morning before sunset, while the kids were sleeping. That in itself was a wonder as our kids is normally up at 5am.

Our Christmas Eve. The photo session did not go as planned. Hailey did not want to sit still and we had to sing for her constantly, which make her stand and dance and clap her hands, which is really cute. The other two were full of beans and excited for us to leave for the Christmas Eve service at our church. They all went in their candy cane stripy Pj’s and had no problem with it. I am not sure how long we will still get away with that. After we went for a Christmas light drive through town and then it was bedtime. Bradley was insisting in staying up to see when Santa comes, so Ive told him to keep his blinds open so he can watch the night sky, but apparently that was to scary. We had a great day, swimming, singing and listening to christmas songs, and play with our best friends at church.

This is possibly one of my favourite sessions to date.  My sessions are normally dominated and lead by toddlers and pre-schoolers running the beach and all the other challenges that comes with this age group, which I love, so I was a bit nervous to photograph a family with older kids.  I was pleasantly surprised how fun it was.  The kids were so beautiful and pleasant and I envied the order of the evening a bit.  Thank you guys for choosing me to capture your memories on Pippie Beach for you.  I hope these photos will bring back all the beautiful memories you have made while living in Yamba.  I hope Sydney will bring you just as much joy.
